Welcome back, students and parents! We are excited to begin another school year at Excel TECC and look forward to helping our students discover their passions, develop valuable skills, and prepare for successful careers. As we kick off the year, we are proud to celebrate some incredible accomplishments from our students and staff.
Another 5-Star Rating!
We are thrilled to announce that Excel TECC has once again earned a 5-star rating from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce! This outstanding recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, staff, and families. We are proud to continue providing high-quality career-technical education that prepares students for success beyond high school.
SkillsUSA Success
Our students also made an incredible impact at SkillsUSA competition this year. Excel TECC had the largest number of state qualifiers in the region, with 68 students advancing to the state competition in Columbus! Even more impressive, 29 of those students earned a spot on the medal stand, including seven (7) Gold Medals; 10 Silver Medals and 12 Bronze Medals. These accomplishments demonstrate the exceptional technical skills, determination, and professionalism of our students. We couldn't be prouder of their hard work and success!
Record-Setting WebXam Results
We are also celebrating our highest-ever passage rate on End-of-Course WebXams, with an outstanding 95% proficiency rate! This achievement is a testament to the commitment of our students and instructors and the high level of preparation happening in our classrooms and labs every day.
New Programs, New Opportunities
This is an especially exciting year for Excel TECC as we expand our offerings and provide even more opportunities for students to explore high-demand careers. We are proud to launch three new programs this year: Aviation at Richmond Heights; Business Academy at Solon; Pre-Nursing at Brush. These new programs will give students even more opportunities to gain hands-on experience, earn valuable industry credentials, and explore career pathways while still in high school.

Whether students are returning to continue their career-tech journey or joining us for the first time, we know this year will be filled with new experiences, challenges, and successes.

ABOUT EXCEL TECC
Welcome to Excel TECC! Excel TECC is a career technical consortium serving the ten school districts of Aurora, Beachwood, Chagrin Falls, Mayfield, Orange, Richmond Heights, Solon, South Euclid-Lyndhurst, West Geauga, and Willoughby-Eastlake offering twenty-two unique programs. Excel TECC’s primary objective is to prepare students to enter a 4-year college, a two-year technical school or the career of their choosing. Excel TECC serves over 1000 students with programs located throughout our districts as well as Auburn Career Center, Holden Arboretum and Cleveland Botanical Gardens. Students in Excel TECC programs are eligible to receive college credit upon successful completion of their program according to tech prep and CT2 standards and may receive anywhere from three to twenty five college credits.
Our mission at Excel TECC is: Empower success, Engage career skills, Encourage responsible citizenship…Developing leaders today for the careers of tomorrow. Our programs set high standards and expectations for students to prepare them to leave high school with the skill set necessary to be successful.
